Everyone should help keep stormwater clean. Here are five easy steps that will make yours an environmentally friendly home:

1. Wash your car on the lawn or at a commercial car wash

2. Pick up pet waste; bag and trash or flush in the toilet

3. Mulch grass clippings and leave on the lawn or compost

4. Sweep dirt into the lawn, pick up debris and put it in the trash

5. Target use of fertilizer and pesticides/herbicides to the lawn and garden and take excess chemicals to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility
